Our mission is to help feed Connecticut families who struggle with food insecurity and hunger. Hunt To Feed connects Connecticut's deer hunters with local butchers & meat processors where venison can be safely prepared as a donation. All venison is donated locally to food banks, soup kitchens, and shelters.

To support this effort, Hunt To Feed provides free venison processing for every deer donated through our program. Hunters never pay a dime to donate their harvest thanks to the support of generous donors, community sponsors, and program partners.

We are a proud 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Hunt To Feed is proud to serve as Connecticut’s local affiliate of Hunters for the Hungry, a nationwide initiative started by the National Rifle Association to provide venison and other wild game to food-insecure individuals and families.
