About Hunt To Feed
Our mission is to help feed Connecticut families who struggle with food insecurity and hunger. Hunt To Feed connects Connecticut's deer hunters with local butchers & meat processors where venison can be safely prepared as a donation. All venison is donated locally to food banks, soup kitchens, and shelters.
To achieve our mission, Hunt To Feed provides hunters free venison processing for all deer donated to this program. Free processing is achieved through partnerships, monetary donations, and local Connecticut sponsorships. Hunt To Feed is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Hunt To Feed is Connecticut's Hunters for the Hungry local affiliate. Hunters for the Hungry is an initiative created by the National Rifle Association to provide venison and meat based meals for those in need.
